Well, much work to be done.

Also looking at this work by friend Jenn: http://jennenorton.blogspot.com/

Now she is productive. And awfully interesting. And funny.

How my cat got me a website.

…oh so bad, thinking, “isn’t that I’m supposed to do? Blog, Vlog, Phlog, and on and on? Who has a career without one and all that crap.” And here it’s over a year since I’ve even posted. Truth is, I totally forgot I had a website. And my neighbour who cared for my cat during her last days when she got lost, me thinking she wandered away to die as, i’m told, animals so graciously do, when in fact he gave her more petting time, a softer lap, and wet food so she bunked with him until I posted the Lost Cat signs (my children were teary-eyed taping them to the telephone posts) which my neighbour whose name is Jim finally spotted on a tree in his front yard after leaving the house for first time in 3 days(?!) to hop into a taxi to bring my cat to the vet as he thought she was sickly but really she was just old (18) and thereupon saw the note and delivered out cat home only to have my dad who was babysitting that night (we were at a housewarming for fellow cat lovers Seth and Tania) let her outside where my cat supposedly attacked 2 pitbulls, who were likely not pitbulls but people always call dogs who are involved in any trouble pitbulls, the two canines retaliating by leaping at kitty, tossing her around in their jaw which she apparently survived and ran off only to have taken shelter under my dad’s car who drove off at 1 am when we returned from the housewarming party where we found her flattened on the road, so I called on Jim, who had so recently cared for her, who came down to the street in his housecoat, his long greying hair and beard tucked in the collar, and hugged me while I cried then we got to talking and I learned that he designs websites and if I were to take him for occassional beers he’d design me one and so he did and now he just emailed me a year later thinking he’d offended me since I’ve never done anything with this website.

Hence this post. I’m doing something.Rambling.

Until next year.

This is the blog for me, Dawn Matheson. I live in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

Basically, I intend to discuss my projects, past and present, plus other people’s projects and things in general that come into the light.

Jim, my neighbour, who I met through my cat, is the web designer. I’ll tell the cat story soon. It is a goody. But a sad goody as kitty is no more.

Above I posted a link to my latest project called Project: Snowman. I’ve decided to premise all my project titles from here on in with: Project colon. Nice and clear. Project: Snowman is explained in the little article above… better than I can explain it here.

I came up with Project: Lucy today for NuitBlanche. Let’s hope it lives.

Need to have a bath now, but this hasn’t been too bad.

Now to figure out how to post photos. Jim? Meow?
